Dude got knocked out by a pillow fisted 155 pounder.. He will never be the same and should consider retiring unless he wants to be a gatekeeper for life

He is a “wonderboy” no more

He was looking good until that gust of wind caught him and bounced his head off the canvas.

lol, he was piecing Pettis up nicely before getting careless.

He got caught, it happens.

He still has one of the best skill-sets in the game today.

He could always move to MW and beat Whittaker again.

I believe he's still a top contender. He got caught and that's MMA.

Dumbest analysis ever...

Lol at calling Pettis a 155'er when that's not even his natural weight class. He's a natural Welterweight.

People have said the same about Pettis for ages.

If Pettis can KO one of the top contenders, doesn't that show you not to be too quick to judge?

You gotta love Sunday threads after an event never fails to bring laugh threads...

Agreed. Woodley beat the prime out of Wonderboy (in their first bout). That was such a one sided beat down -- how the judges saw that fight as a draw is beyond me.

Thompson would be wise to retire. He is 36, has a ton of mileage (kickboxing + MMA) and was brutally KO'd by a feather fisted 155er.
