but the talent from 145-155 is absolutely levels above any other division

You point is correct. LW is a very nice division right now. However, the top guys seem to be out for long periods of time consistently. The UFC pushed Lee and Chiesa and they sort of fissled back to the undercard. LW is very top heavy.

I would say that fw and lw have been the most competitive and ineteresting since the wec merger

Put the top 10 WWs against the top 10 LWs and the LWs lose most of them.
These 2 fights change nothing. Who does Masvidal lose to? Well Wonderboy in the fight before Till. Who does Pettis lose to? Wrestlers so he's screwed against most of the other WWs.
