"We're not here to take part, we're here to take over." -Conor McGregor

What is it about certain fighter quotes that catch the imagination of MMA fans and suddenly it becomes "a thing."?

Another example is the endless "Tony Ferguson is the kinda guy that would (fill in the blank)" meme that's currently making the rounds.

Charisma. There is no secret sauce, you either got it or you don't.

3 piece and a biscuit — the hood has been saying this for ages

That was my first thought as well. However Conor and Jorge say lots of things that aren't memorable. So what is it about these particular phrases? Could it be the way they said it and in the particular context it was said, along with the charisma they does the magic? In otherwords, when there is a combo of all 3: right words, right context, right charisma, the meme creates itself.

When you become the new king of a country after a quick two man tournament... just upset Jorge forgot to also serve him "chips" with the order...

He didn’t deserve to win that tourney. It was an early stoppage. <{outtahere}>

Three days in, it's already the most annoying, lame, and played-out catchphrase ever...
