The guy has fought once in the last 15 years. Yet I only miss him now that he announces his retirement?

During his reign of terror there was nothing more boring when at the bar than watching a GSP title defense.

But now I hope he comes back and fights Khabib. WTF?

Obviously underappreciated him when is was on top.

You like watching gay porn

GSP is/was my fav fighter - but in general it is sad to see legends go. It's nice when any sport legend is still competing because you can relate back to when you were younger.

I was watching st pierre 15 years ago when I was in college. If he's retiring that makes me old....

Hes beautiful thats why.

I'm happy I got to see him arc to the top. Also enjoyed meeting him and talking to him. The guy is genuine and loves his fans.

Because even when he was away, there was always a possibility of him fighting again. Now that he has made his retirement official, it's sinking in that he's gone forever

It was his rise that made me a fan, he realized after Serra there wasn't any need to risk losing with the tools he possessed. He did try to finish more towards the end but took a lot more damage.

I only started watching around the time he beat Jon Fitch. All the juice heads at my gym went on about how great he was. I always respected his greatness but absolutely wished someone along the way would pick him off

As I said I recall so many nights I was pumped about a fight, went to the bar, (fights against Fitch, Alves, Hardy, Shields, Diaz, Koscheck still scar me) and realized just how shit the fight was going to be once he took someone down in the first round and the opponent looked hopeless

It wasn’t until the Condit/Hendricks fights that he started looking beatable, but at that point he was already fighting infrequently

Why does the OT miss their forum doormat after he gets banned?

Pariahs cultivate group cohesion.

Should put up a poll to see how many of us don't miss him.

Only sad that I won't get to see him KTFO by current competition

A lot of people hate when people keep winning and then miss greatness when it’s gone

Someone post the gif of gsp and ronda hugging at the press conference.
