Why doesn't GSP

Fight Silva or Conor rather than trying to put another division on hold for even longer than it already has been? Not as much to lose against Khabib? Would beating Khabib do more for his legacy than beating Woodley? Fight Woodley or do a superfight with somebody that doesn't have a belt.
 
The age-old question of why doesn't GSP fight Silva...
 
Become the only 3 divisions champ?

He's retiring anyway.
 
He's not in this for the money. If he was, he would have fought Nate or over-the hill anderson silva.

He's either fighting to make history or not fighting.

  1. Silva or Conor don't have belts.
  2. Woodley has a better chance to beat him than Khabib.
  3. GSP is the most calculated fighter that ever stepped in the octogon, he is not going to make a stupid move just because some fans want it.

True which is why he wanted no part of Silva back in the day but jumped at the chance to face Bisping.

How about Romero then? Oh yeah i forgot he got sick trying to put on weight to fight Bisping which is why he gave up the belt (lol).

Got sick? He had a serious medical condition from it. He earned the right to fight who he wants way more than Connor ever did.
 
GSP is about legacy. He knows a new title would be 3 different weight classes he's had titles in. No one has done that. It's attractive to GSP.

He still beats an undefeated champ. Was that ever confirmed that the request was at catchweight? Maybe he was suggesting the inaugural 165 title. Who knows? He's Canadian.
