Streak Length in Years shouldn't count years the fighter was retired...

GOAT talk..... Is there any more pointless of a conversation to have here?

GOAT talk is not simple. It's all opinion therefore very complex and difficult.

MMA Math doesn't determine GOAT and neither does win streaks and neither does X fighter was more exciting than Y fighter therefore GOAT....

Give me corrections and I'll make em

Same goes for anyone else

In your chart, GSP's Streak Length in Years is the same as Fedor's.
But GSP was active between 2007 - 2013 for a total of 6 years.
Fedor's unbeaten streak was between 2001 - 2009 for a total of 8 years.

While GSP came back and fought once again, IMHO it is unfair to count the years he was out on vacation...

As a high-level mathematical statistician and research methodologist, I endorse the OP entirely.

He's doing some cutting-edge work right there.

Simple GOAT math(s)

Leonard Garcia > Jens Pulver > BJ Penn > Matt Hughes > GSP > Michael Bisping > Matt Hammill > Jon Jones > Daniel Cormier > Stipe Miocic > JDS > Mirko Cro Cop > Kazushi Sakuraba > Rampage Jackson > Chuck Liddell > Randy Couture > Vitor Belfort > Luke Rockhold > Chris Weidman > Anderson Silva > Dan Henderson > Fedor Emelianenko.

There you have it. Leonard Garcia is the greatest to ever do it.

came here for goats... leaving disappointed.

As pointless as I think goat talk is, you came up with a relatively simple and factual way to look at stats. Nice work.
