goddamn i just remembered when tyron spong had this happen iirc like only weeks after the silva/weidman rematch and just laid there calmly talking to the opponent. ended up being about the end for him though, no?

Yea man I never understood people who supported Weidman celebrations or their corners reaction . Instantly made me not like him

The lower part of your shin is the weakest part and looks like he hit the other guy higher up on the shin. Solid bone meets solid bone something's going to crack. The movement of the check probably adds way more force into the impact too since it's moving towards the kick
 
God damn. I'm glad I didn't watch the slow mo. It's always much worse.
