With Darko Stosic pulling out who should Ankaleav fight next? Honestly I’m glad he did, having two young up and comers fight this early was bad matchmaking. I’d like to see him fight a top 15 guy, there’s new blood in this division that needs to be showcased.

I think he should fight someone like Latifi but I bet the ufc gives him someone like Villante or Alvey.

Many good light HW fighters at the moment, but no one is really consistent or dominant, except Jones, who will sooner than later loose dominance against:
Rakic, Stosic, Ankalaev, Blazowicz, Thiago Santos, Teixeira, Corey Anderson, OSP, Oezdemir, Luke Rockhold...

Looking at the guys who aren't booked, we've got few options....

Jake Collier - would be my pick as matchmaker.
Roman Dolidze - 6-0, Georgian LHW, just signed - maybe his signing was relating to the UFC knowing Stosic wasn't making this fight?
Aleksandar Rakic - ahead of Ankalaev in terms of UFC wins, deserves a bigger name opponent I guess.

I'd try and get Collier as the opponent. Unless Dolidze signed for this shit.
