I'm not talking decorated in amateur wrestling but how they applied wrestling to MMA and the success they found with both offensive and defensive wrestling at the highest levels of MMA both in and out of the Octagon.

Aldo for defense
Glover has good takedowns usually
Brazilians are way more TDD oriented wrestlers, not many who are great at takedowns.

Some great responses so far. I feel like Tibau stands out (to me personally). Arona was a son of a bitch though. Insanely difficult match-up for virtually anyone in his prime.

Eh I think if you just wrestle in brazil. You are bound to have some accolades since fringe sport. If anything Maia is a good wrestler in Brazil?

Michel Prazeres
Lyoto Machida
Francisco Trinaldo
Warlley Alves

Some of them use more Judô than Wrestling, like Jacaré, Feijão and Antonio Carlos.
