30th Birthday ideas?

So I'm turning 30 next Friday. I'm not big on bday celebrations, but I feel like I should do something fun with friends for this one. Any ideas?

Taking into account a good centralized location for your family and friends, rent out a back room at a bar. If you can find a good deal, some even let you bring your own food. At least that way you're out, and people can come and go as they please. Also, if you do it early enough in the evening, there's time to explore other opportunities later in the night.
