I was watching the build up videos recently, and RDA kept talking compliments about this thai guy with 300 matches holding mitts for him in the work out scenes. Damn Coach Cordero's got the hook up, and that's an understatement!

So I searched a bit, and found he's one of these 2 guys: and they both got some sick fucking prestigious pedigree of MT championships and honors : http://www.mmamania.com/2016/1/20/10796820/two-best-muay-thai-fighters-of-century-start-coaching-mma

I dont know when he hired them though, but might be relatively recent.

Virtually every Muay Thai champ from Thailand has 300 fights. They start at like age 8 and fight every few weeks.

Guess, the other guy has the 300. the guy that's holding the mitts for RDA is actually has 419 PRO MT matches. and and one boxing match won lol. almost too retarded to be real, even by early 20 century boxing standards.

I'm an honest man.
I respect that, alot actually as u can see from my sig.

What are you implying OP?

Bruce lee held mitts for lots of losers aswell.

Sneeze. I'm sneezing at that info

Dime a dozen

Be way more impressive to be training with a top boxer

Ha. The dude probably couldn't even teach Sage anything new.

I find it interesting who guys train with TS.

Those are some good guys to have around. Excellent sparring partners. Dos Anjos striking just keeps getting better and better.

Most of the MT guys have hundreds of fights. Glory had a guy on last week that was like 340-90 or some shit. He was fun to watch and kicked the shit out of the Frenchman. Im too lazy to look up his name. These are guys that wrap rope around a tree and start shin slamming at the age of 6. Fucking shins are like steel. I would like to see RDA use more elbows and knees. Since Eddie is going to cage push and try to put on a snooze-fest win, maybe RDA can cut him up in the clinch with Lbows. I like Eddie, I just dont think he deserves the shot after getting his leg severed by Cerrone and 2 cage-pushing decisions.

... The fuck is wrong with you, losers?

EDIT: Does anybody really care about the fight related stuff anymore? if someone posted the vid of Mcgreggot hanging out Rhiana u'd all go wet over it for pages...
nope, everyone is just desperate to get the first one liner in so they can get likes from a group of people that everyone largely considers idiots overall - pretty cool about RDA, not every good fighter is a good coach but im sure its not a bad thing

Yeah, hes one of the two guys that trained GSP for his fight with Hendricks iirc.

I'm assuming he's talking about his trainers at Evolve in Singapore, nothing to do with Cordiero. Evolve has a bunch of true top tier Muay Thai guys on their coaching staff.

I imagine it's less hard sparring and more just getting his technique really sharp with all the knowledge they have. Was listening to the Heavy Hands podcast and they commented that RDA kicks like a Thai.

If CAin was a thai fighter do you think he would have fought the same 2 guys 4 times in 5 years like he did in the ufc?

Thanks for sharing. I think the evolve stuff is a pretty interesting story. In a few years i think we're going to see some really interesting things from the moves being made.

In Thailand, there really is no amateur muay thai

In America, the boxing and wrestling coaches here also have 300+ matches

They are both at Evolve you're correct. Everyone that goes their improves their stand up leaps and bounds. Hell even Aoki's isn't terrible anymore.

wait, im a lil confused ts. you follow muay thai but you dont know who petchboonchu and sam a are? ehhhh?

but yeah, thats awesome for them that they got a new job and hopefully a steady source of income. namsaknoi works as a trainer there as well which is great for him.

gonna miss sam a though. hardest left kick ive ever seen!
