The top paid athletes are a boxer/MMA fighter.....with Conor making $99 million.

Now according to you people...An A Level athlete is probably a Linebacker....30 top linebackers get $7 million atleast...These are starters, very good players.

So if they can easily dominate MMA and become champ with no effort and have god-like highlight reel KOs.......Why wouldn't they?

They could easily be the Mike Tyson of MMA.

So if them playing the NFL is just a money decision...Why wouldn't they jump into this?....It's easily the best financial decision, since the UFC is so fucking easy.

Also this is just going by their highlight reels...If they start talking shit...They can be way fucking bigger.

Hell...It doesn't even have to be an NFL linebacker that gets $7 million....Lots linebackers are getting paid around $3 million.

Now I know what you idiots are gonna say

1. "But but that's only Conor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STIPE DOESN"T GET PAID SHIT!!!!!!"..........Yes that's only Conor, but an NFL player with amazing highlights at HW division will sell a shitload by the highlights themselves...Add in a bit of shit talking....Why can't they make more than $7 million? Im sure they will be up to $30 millions.

2. "BUT BUT Why would they want to be in a sport with freak injuries/brain damage?"......Linebackers experience a lot of that shit.....If they come to the UFC, since they are so superior, they should get even less damaged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So again...If it's so fucking easy...and they can easily get the best highlights in MMA history...and they can easily shit talk.....Why wouldn't they come into MMA, take over, and get paid way more than $7 million?

Doesn't make sense to me.....or maybe, just maybe...the NFL players aren't dumbasses and know they can't cut it in MMA?

I really wish there were more threads about “A-level” athletes crossing over to MMA on Sherdog today.

Hey there. My mom's friend has been mentoring me since I was 10 and he said sometimes it is not all about money. So maybe the NFL players just don't want to be fighters. Bill Gates is the richest man in the world so does that mean everyone should try to own a Microsoft? lol. I'm not trying to offend but think about it.

I only make $30/hour at my part time job at the LA Traffic Courthouse and he told me that doing a public service might be more important than making big buxks.-Kennyt

Maybe they've played football their whole lives and enjoy it.

Did the fact that Conor made $99M because of his involvement in a boxing match, not an MMA fight, ever cross your mind?

Conor never cracked the top 20 of this list before Floyd showed him what a real red panty night was.

Is this all a troll job or do you really not get the whole A-level thing?

I feel like you really don't get it.

No according to A level Athlete supporters, they strictly join the NFL because it was their best $ decision....So $ is at the center of this.

Von Miller makes 19 million a year. I imagine those 30 other guys are trying to make 19 million a year in the sport they're already playing.
It's not like there's a belt they're fighting over. Every linebacker in the league could make the same amount if that's what their team thinks they're worth.

Because MMA fighters make dick. Cucknor McTicklefists is the exception.

Also they are playing an elite sport, why would they want to give up the prestige to compete in a pseudosport side show?

Not one single person makes a guaranteed 7 million in the ufc. These guys do

Conor was getting $10 - $20 million a fight in MMA....Thats more than the linebackers I mentioned.

A Mike Tyson like Linebacker destroying HWs will earn a shitload more than $7 million.

being even more spurious than the vocal majority of spurious sherdog posters isn't something you should be striving for, TS.

Stick to simple tasks, ts.

I think your point about how starting linebackers are making $7Mil a year kind of answers your question.

Once their NFL run is over then maybe an MMA career is an option, but no-one starting in the UFC is making $7Mil a year, not even close. You take Conor out of the equation & most headliners ain't making $7Mil over their entire career so that's why.

Remember that time you shut the fuck up and worked out for everybody? Let's try that again. When they started training for football, MMA was even less popular than it is today. You are a clown.

Sounds like a tough contract to get...That's literally top 1%....and they will have to beat a shitload of other A Level Athletes...fact is, they are probably staying around the $7 million range.

They can easily come to MMA...Dominate and ear $10-$20 million per fight......Sounds like a better business deal IMO.
