I love it personally but even with all these great fighters everyone has eyes set on Conor really. The only fight everyone is salivating for is Aldo vs Conor. TBH I would say Luke vs Chris is the best fight because I expect it to be a competitive back and forth fight but we will see who knows.

Like always, main events trump everything else.

It's ridiculous to have this many fights over basically one long weekend. How can you have maximum build up and anticipation when you have so many other fights to look forward to in the days prior??

Why is that a bad thing? All of the people who flew out and are watching just to see Conor are now going to be exposed to all of these other great fighters.

There is a reason the UFC HW champ wanted to be the co main event to this fight.

Performing on a superstacked card like this is one of the best ways to jumpstart your career

Are they not skilled enough for you?

Why would you even ask something like this? Jose Aldo is the pound for pound king and Mcgregor is an absolute killer, what does skill have to do with this? Is it hard so hard to believe that Luke Rockhold vs Chris Weidman might be more exciting?

This isn't hard to understand, Weidman knocked out the greatest middleweight of our time, his story is interesting.

There are 10 fights this week I like better than any Conor fight, regardless of how amazingly skilled his opponent is. Skill in this case plays no part of my general disinterest of the fight.

This isn't hard to understand, Weidman knocked out the greatest middleweight of our time when he was near 40 years of age, his story is semi-interesting.

Fixed for accuracy and context.

Jacare Romero is the fight I'm most looking forward too.

Spid3yo's post had nothing to do with Weidman and Rockhold. He was saying he isn't particularly interested in Aldo/McGregor. I think it's crazy for any MMA fan to feel that way. This fight has so much to like about it

Some people would ask you to list the 10 but that wouldn't serve any purpose. Why don't Conor fights interest you? He's pretty interesting as both a person and a fighter. He stands out from the pack in both of those regards. So why is it?

Just as excited or even more so for Luke-Chris and Romero-Souza

Some GREAT fights. Tonight the headliner obviously and Ferguson v Barbosa should be killer!

I find the act tired, I find the promotion behind it boring. Clearly people are eating it up by the mouthful and I'm in the minority that the pageantry doesn't do it for me. I was never a wild Aldo fan. In the end I think who wins is irrelevant, no matter the outcome they will rematch and we'll go though this all over again, which also makes this fight less interesting to me.

Lots of great fights. Mendes v Edgar, El Cucuy v Barbosa like you said, Lauzon is always entertaining, Artem v Ryan Hall, Gunny v Maia, Holloway v Stephens, Weidman v Rockhold and finally Aldo v McGregor.... I might actually buy 194 instead of watching it for free at a bar.
