What a bizarre and pointless thread
Wasn't there a reality show about 2 guys that went to a potnof different places to learn their specific style? It's almost the same. Those guys didn't become better fighters, actually.
In the following modalities:
-muay Thai
-submissions
-boxing (wild card gym)
-wrestling
How badass would that be
PA is also one of the only states with not only a single great wrestling program but many good ones at the collegiate level.
You have Penn State which is the top program over the last 5 years plus you got perennial powerhouses like Lehigh, stony brook, slippery rock, bloomsburg, and a few others all producing all-americans pretty often.
what you are talking about is different from competitive fighting. it's more of a personal journey.
Wrong forum and it makes no sense.
It's cheaper and less difficult to fly in a specialist and have them stay with your camp than to fly yourself, get the necessary visas, deal with the timezone change, find accommodation, adapt to a new environment/country, and bring the other parts of your camp (conditioning coach, therapists, sparring partners, etc).
If you have enough money to fly all over, you're far better off staying put.
Musha shugyo, in Japanese.

I would pick Arizona/Oklahoma for wrestling.. or Russia. Germany also has a decent wrestling league, I am sure you would train with a few high level wrestlers there.

Save your money, buy a tapout/affliction t-shirt and "trane" UFC at 1 location. Use the rest of the money for more tapout and affliction t shirts and can't forget the poser gloves and board shorts.
