I have been trying for months. Look below at next post for video if for some reason this new post actually works

Sorry for that initial thread start but I seriously have been tryin in vain for a few months to start a thread to post my recent 2nd MMA fight. I am wearing the Bad Boy shorts (with the eyes). I am president of a BJJ club at my university and also am on the wrestling team. The fight went pretty well but was a little sloppy (being in the cage does crazy things). I thought I was going to TKO/KO the guy towards the end but I gotta ive it up to him he was tough and tried to scramble out before getting caught. I hope you can finally enjoy!

Also can anyone tell me why I haven't been able to start new threads but still had the ability to post replys and read any thread I wanted. Did it have something to do with the link?

Goodjob man! That choke looked really deep. What do you fight at? 155lbs im assumming?

nice.
Next time y9u have his back standing though I expect to see you bring his butt right back down/
:)

this time him gettng away didnt hurt ya but in the future you will face guys with good hands and keeping a man down is vitally imortant.

You looked really good though in that fight other than that.

congrats go get your am-fighter tag, will keep you from getting harassed by stupid whitebelts

Thanks for the props guys....

In response to a few of your questions/comments:

I go to Truman State University. I fight at 155 and am 6'1''-6'2". I feel good with my hands but I think I will become more comfortable using them with cage experience, plus this guy just came out right at me. When we were standing and I was behind him it felt like he locked a kimura in sakaruba style, but looking at the vid its obvious he didn't thats why I was a little hesitant to take him back down and waiting for him to try and reach over before putting him back down.

Also, how do I get an am fighter tag exactly?

Good job..

Try to calm down and get rid of those gitters LOL.. They'll tire you out.. (Easier said then done.. I know).

Standing up.. watch for the Kimura

Good job buddy. You were a better grappler then this guy. Couldn't see your striking unfortunately, but why trade when you can out grapple your opponent and win without taking punishment? :D

You are new to MMA and it looks like you compete at the amateur or small professional organization level. Maybe you can share some of your insight, tips and experience so far with me and anyone else for that matter who competes in MMA.

I want to participate in MMA so fucking bad. But I am from the province of Ontario where it isn't sanctioned and all the events are at least a good 4+ hours drive from here. Plus on top of that I am a bit nervous of the crowds. I am not afraid to fight at all, but I am one of those people that kind of care what people think, and take it to heart. I got stage fright kind of bad I guess. Even in judo tournaments I get a bit of it, and it affects my performance. What can you tell me about how the events were, the people? How the atmosphere is? the level of competition? medical? how much they pay to win? Is it really worth it? Maybe tell me what you think abou tit bro. thanks and good guilloutin

Eat food and lift heavy objects. Gaining 30lbs at your height (exact same height as me) when you weigh so little is easy.
