2nd KY republican Gov. in 40 years

Only surprising because it's Kentucky. Was bound to happen sooner or later.

Pretty easy for the Reps to cut spending in a state that has no money.

The one before the current was also Republican, no?

Official state jelly is good stuff.

Not that I need it or anything.

I'm addressing you, Ronda.

I would agree with that statement for most topics.

I think it shows a continuation of how voting went in 2012.

yep. the closer we get to the elections the more you'll hear "Continue with what we accomplished in 2012" from the right. I pray to God Clinton wins the primary.

Not surprised. Non-presidential elections heavily favor republicans because turnout is low. The Democratic Party has a problem right now turning out the percentage of voters for presidential years.

The reason they might not win the white house will be the opposite of the party dying. It will be because they would have control of both houses, the supreme court and the white house. Add in the majority of GOP Republicans and it's laughable to call the party dead. People forget we are in a two party system. Ultimately, each side can get pretty shitty and rebound back and forth and back and forth...
