250 Boko Haram Dead,by local nigerian villagers

Greenlight the U.S. to go in there and BH will catch a real beating.

Why yes it is, there are good and bad militias but the good citizens should always outnumber the bad ones and given the chance be able to form a larger and stronger militia to bring order back to their lives.

"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

Don't know the veracity of the Mail's claims since the DM tends to sensationalize these sort of things.

HuffPo states Nigeria received $627 million for 2012. Forbes says $647 million for 2011.

Nigeria is 10th on the list of Foreign Aid recipients for 2010.

It does kinda give ya a warm fuzzy feeling inside! What's sad is it took them losing their daughters to come to this realization. These same people were proabably completely ok when Boko Haram was making plans to kill little American girls in the name of Allah but now that its their girls they feel the need to standup.

And Americans are responding differently to their plight? Maybe everybody knows that Americans don't give a shit.

Good example of communities correcting problems that the government's don't bother to do anything about.

Thanks for helping put into Perspective the plight of the Daily Mail, UK's New York Post, MicroBrew.

I'm a little suprised you think so. Armed citizen vigilante groups fighting the forces of evil (no sarcasm there, actually) seems right up your ideological alley.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy this is being resolved. I'm happy the bad guys are dead or dying.

My point is that when you consider these Boko Haram soldiers were probably 5-6 when kidnapped from THEIR parents, and brainwashed by extremists.. they're probably only 11-18 currently.

The entire situation is toxic. Everything about it. "Africa is fucked".

Hope those girls make it back home, asap. The Nigerian military should've done something to help or save these girls immediately. Unfortunately that didn't happen, all associated with Boko Haram and the abduction of the girls deserve death as punishment, or life imprisonment

They may not have been child soldiers! But 100% they were indocted into to a religion that spew's vilionce and abuse of women and children.

Saddens me beyond tears that Nigeria is a top ten oil country that needs handouts.

There is systemic corruption that infests every institution in that country. That coupled with naked tribalism incurs a social cost that is almost as bad as Boko Harem. It's my view that these problems are what lead to that very great evil to arise.

No more acceptance of foreign aid! If there is a will for simple venders and farmers to go necklace some islamic goofs, then, if the handouts were withdrawn, there might be a similar type of will that initiates change the moral composition of their governments.

That foreign aid isn't really free money though, it is meant to accomplish US foreign policy goals.

Has Boko Haram offered scriptural support for their actions?
