25 Pounds lost, but stuck, someone able to help?

Hey guys just wondering if anyone would be able to critique my diet, i started about a month and a half ago and went from 245-215 but now i seem to be stuck. I am staying at 215-220lbs and have been like this for about 3 weeks now and cant seem to figure out whats wrong. And the only thing i have been drinking is Water.

Here is a list of what my daily diet looks like

Breakfast: 2 Egg Whites and a Muscle Milk(Water not Milk)

Meal 2: 1/4 Lb of Chicken salad with Celery and onions

Lunch: Chicken Cesar Salad with ( ranch :\ dressing )

Meal 3: another 1/4 Lb of Chicken Salad with Celery and Onions

Dinner: A majority of Steak

I get to Jiu Jitsu 2-3 Times a week, and am in the gym the remaining days, working Chest, Back, and doingCardio

You're not eating enough and I also question what you're eating...aside from the egg whites and MM, your diet looks like crap. Sorry, man. Read the stickies and you'll be back to losing in no time.

1.Back and chest?Do you not do legs?Or shoulders etc etc.
2.What 'cardio' do you do?Is it all LSD or do you have Tabatas and/or HIIT in there too?They are good to get your metabolism going....
 
you need to enjoy the thermic effect of food..

also, stress is going to cause you to retain that weight.. attack it like it's already over.. check out the ABS diet.. it seems pretty sound to me.. i used it *VERY* shortly, but it was nice.. i walk around 160 and i'm 5'8+ - don't go crazy on weights

also, if you do lift weights.. try to kill your fast twitch.. do 90% of your max as many times as you can.. you're probably not going for mass.. go for the explosive muscle.

need more protein. what is your percentage of body fat? you might be real lean already. the more muscle you have, the more calories you'll burn.
 
Whats in the 'chicken salad' is it mayo based or just chicken
 
Lots of Questions where to start..

1.Back and chest?Do you not do legs?Or shoulders etc etc. - Sorry about the quick writing, i was tryin to get out of the house while writing it, we do shoulders and legs also

2.What 'cardio' do you do?Is it all LSD or do you have Tabatas and/or HIIT in there too?They are good to get your metabolism going.... - Cardio is mostly running on the treadmill or biking.

what is your percentage of body fat? That im not sure of, i am pretty Overweight atm tho, lots around the midsection, gonna see if one of my JJ instructors has the instrument to measure the body fat %.

The Chicken salad has about a teaspoon of mayo in it

Sorry about the brief answers, its 1am and i need to get to work by 6, sleep, any additional answers that are needed iw ill answer tomorrow.


BTW - What would you guys suggest for a good meal for meal 2/4 ?
 
More leafy greens, more fruit, and cut out the mayo. Use oil & vinegar dressing, don't eat croutons or cheese with your caesar. You need to eat a bigger breakfast, add wheat toast and oatmeal. Other than that it looks OK but personally I would get sick of eating the same thing 3 times a day.
 
yeah i think i will throw fruit into the meal 2 3 and 4

Wheat ill throw with the Eggs like you said, and if i got the time at home b4 work ill make the oatmeal.

I dont mind eating chicken that many times a day, i love chicken :D
 
Run more off the machine. road work will strip the fat off you HIIT every other day will speed you along. I am in the same boat as you I need to drop thirty lbs. I have did it before so I (i think) know how. It just seems harder then before I think I said the same thing last time though lol. I need help finding food I like but as long as you burn more cals. then you take in the fat will go away. Running seems to be the answer for all the fighters and atheletes I have ever met so it should work for us.
