NHL 24/25 - Still did better than Vancouver

Remember how I kept saying it was the Oilers year?

Well, barring a Bruins/Leafs-like miraculous comeback, this shit is over.

As much as the Leafs' ineptitude hurts my soul, I don't want to imagine what it would be like to lose back to back SCF's to the same damn team. These opportunities don't come along too often.

And the chance may never come again...

Well it's 3 SCFs they have lost since I have been a hockey fan. They are just allergic to winning these although they did pretty well to make 3 finals in 20 years I guess.

Pull the goalie with 6+ minutes left?

Patrick Roy is not some messiah, okay? It's a horrible strategy.

It's kinda sad to see Edmonton go out like this. The 3rd period last year took years off my life. Oh well.

Because pulling the goalie with 7 minutes left worked so well...

try and run it back again next year with Skinner, third time a charm.

The big difference this year to last seems to be their (lack of) rush game. They had a lot of fast skaters who could score like Foegele, etc. That and their special teams. They didn't have either this year and whatever they had hasn't been very useful. I thought they would match up better with the Panthers this year. Complete opposite.

Just think Oilers, it could be 3-1 right now, with plenty of time left.

Pull the fuckin' goalie with 6+ minutes left...idiots...
