I'm confused. I'm 220, 6'4". I'm not sure that I have a whole lot of fat to lose, but I know I could ditch at least 10 lbs of fat without an issue.
My problem is that my coach says that the guys that I'd be fighting would be 200+ and that's a LOT of different ranges, with a LOT of different punching power. My standup has actually gotten worse this year as I've worked on cardio and grappling, and it wasn't up to par to begin with.
So should I just say fuck it all and do strength training and not worry about fat, or should I cut a lot of weight and be a squirrely little fucker with a good chin? How would I tell how much fat I can safely lose? (And how much I have)?
