These people are getting into the ufc with 7 8 wins. That is stupid unless your a Jones or even Alex, bo, someone who is a legit high end prospect. This is the issue with the lack of regional orgs now. A lot of these fighters shouldn't be fighting these 20.fight veterans it's dumb.

Wonder who comes back better and who goes on a skid.

Me too, man.

A lot is going to be down to matchmaking, of course.

I think the matchmaking has been particularly challenging at the start of 2025. Rinya, Carpenter, Talbott and Steele all got very experienced opponents, but I don't think any of the fights were 'unfair'.

Austin Bashi got the Angel of Death for undefeated fighters in CRod, and Gadzhiyasulov disproved MMAth once again by losing to the guy who lost twice to the guy he just beat lol

Any of these guys could be given equally tough/rough follow up fights when some of them probably need a slight step down after that. It depends how hard the UFC is gonna challenge them. They're all good enough to win fights in the UFC, it's just who they're asked to beat now.

Of these fighters I picked Bashi, Nurmagomedov and Shara as the favourites on their night who I believed the most would lose. And well Suarez was the underdog I thought she was the most likely on her night to upset, that one I got wrong.
