College 2024 Football Discussion *** Ohio St National Champions ***

What 16 team playoff format do's you people be in favor of?

4-4-2-2-1 or 5-11?

In case you are unaware, the first option has 13 automatic bids, 4(Big 10) 4(SEC) 2(ACC) 2(Big 12) 1(Small 5) and then 3 left over for at large bids with notre dame somehow getting special consideration cause they know they cant make it on merit alone

The second option is 4 major conference champions and 1 small 5 champ get automatic bids and the everyone else gets to fight it out for the other 11 bids Thunderdome style

I'm sure you're all thinking the same thing I'm thinking, where does the Sac-12 fit into all this!?

Good question, as of right now that hasnt been specifically addressed but its obviously the most pressing question in the hearts and minds of college football fans the world over so they would be wise to get down to brass tax on that one, post haste!

5-11...fewer auto bids, the better

Arkansas WR Jordan Anthony won the NCAA 100m Championship.

LSU WR Jelani Watkins finished 3rd.

Sac State is leaving the Big Sky Conference and joining the Big West, which is a conference filled with all California teams, but they dont play football in the Big West so the story isnt over yet...

Sac State's president published a letter pleading his case and pointing the many reasons why Sac State should still be granted D1A membership approval in a couple days when the final vote happens

The push to the Sac-12 continues...

Im watching the footballettes championship game on ESPN2, this definitely aint the Lingerie League, these is some big ole sturdy rough and tumble hoes

Really interesting that they'd consider leaving the SBC given how much recent exposure they have.
