College 2024 Football Discussion *** Ohio St National Champions ***

Around The Horn aired its final episode today, I havent watched the show in years but there was a time when I never missed an episode so it was just a little sad watching these old timers say goodbye for the last time

Mike & Mike before school. Coming home to ATH and PTI. Then Rich and Stuart Scott told me what happened today at 6 o’clock.

Oh dang, the guy that made Black Panther, Sinners and @My Spot 's favorite movie, Fruitvale, was a Hornet, ole Pete did not know that
Seeing as how he's the hottest thing in Hollywood at the moment, I suspect they can definitely use this to their advantage

The push to the Sac-12 continues...

Terrible news.
no helmets, not strapped in apparently.

It was already known but now its official like a referee's whistle

@Pittie Petey Michigan's (former) president just got nope'd by the FL Board of Governors.

What 16 team playoff format do's you people be in favor of?

4-4-2-2-1 or 5-11?

In case you are unaware, the first option has 13 automatic bids, 4(Big 10) 4(SEC) 2(ACC) 2(Big 12) 1(Small 5) and then 3 left over for at large bids with notre dame somehow getting special consideration cause they know they cant make it on merit alone

The second option is 4 major conference champions and 1 small 5 champ get automatic bids and the everyone else gets to fight it out for the other 11 bids Thunderdome style

I'm sure you're all thinking the same thing I'm thinking, where does the Sac-12 fit into all this!?

Good question, as of right now that hasnt been specifically addressed but its obviously the most pressing question in the hearts and minds of college football fans the world over so they would be wise to get down to brass tax on that one, post haste!

And playoff expansion sucks. Now we all have to pretend that Ryan Day is an elite coach and not John Cooper 2.0
