btw, amazing 90 yr old LaRussa got hired, or even wanted to return to work, in baseball.

he used to live down the street from me and I'd see him and his wife in Safeway occasionally.

about the time he started ARF in town.

not to be mean, but dude looked freakin cadaverous way back then, like death warmed over.
 
Totally forgot to thank the Red Sox for trading Mookie to the Dodgers. Lmao. Can’t wait to win more championships now.

He either has or it's bascially 1a and 1b. Betts with two rings may give him the edge.
 
Mookies the only other player who’s been elite for an extended period of time. People always throw a name like Acura, Yelich or bellinger in the mix with trout but they never end up sustaining their numbers for more than a season or two.

Acuna just might the third in contention for this title though. He definitely slumps hard, but he's getting better each season.

When he gets hot he's pretty much unstoppable, but he's a couple seasons away from being in that category imo. Freeman is still the best player on the Braves
