I started watching WEC on Versus (I think?) about 2 years before it got absorbed into the UFC. it was amazing. I can't comment on the entire WEC run but during the time I was watching that org, the cards were epic. it was the only major org for smaller fighters in the USA. the talent level was great and the cards were stacked

at least that is how I remember it.
