No. I'm not Homer. But I think you know that.

I think Kloubachar will suffer a name recognition deficit. So, agree to disagree.

I think the idea that she will run on a "nice" platform is questionable as well. As with most of the other potential "moderate" Dem candidates I think you'd see the relative lack of eye catching policy result in a mostly negative campaign ala Hilary which again would I think play into Trump's strengths and allow him to pickup a lot of the anti establishment vote.

I like Tulsi Gabbard, hoping she does well. Although, she's going to be dragged through the muck by mainstream media and condescended to like Bernie was last go around.

imo Booker, Harris and Gillibrand are too disingenuous to win and will not get support of the progressive left side of the party. Harris is probably the most strategic of the three and will go far into the race.

I think Warren is a clown for the native american ancestry controversy and for some of her over the top plays in the senate, but wouldn't be horrible as President or VP.

Thinking Bernie w/ Tulsi as VP.

Yep I could definitely see something like this, her or Sherrod Brown being Sanders running mate with the view he'll probably only serve one term. Gets around a lot of the age issue with him and gives them time to build reputation and legitimacy.

I think a lot of the reason the field is so wide though isn't just outsiders running against the establish democrat order but rather that order desperately searching for someone that can beat them, you'll have all different flavours of centralist on offer in the hope one of that takes.

Wow what a shitty thread

https://forums.sherdog.com/threads/...ren-klobuchar-join-the-growing-field.3884567/

She's not super well known nationally but she's done a pretty good job in Minnesota especially with bi partisan issues

Why wouldn't you prefer a politician that just does her job, passes (mostly) good legislation that helps her constituents, and doesn't spend time and money making a ruccus in the news to increase her personal fame and political following from rubes who eat up controversy?

Because Trump already attacked her, so some people are insta-compelled to hate her.

If they have been in office for a while and few people know them, it more than likely means they are actually doing their job instead of trying to get in the spotlight via controversy...

In other words, she doesnt stand a chance on a main party ticket.

hio Headkicktoleg,

i have. she's from Minnesota and is apparently pretty popular there.

she also has made a bit of a name for herself as a advocate of bipartisanship (working with the GOP to craft legislation for online privacy, commercialization of university research and curbing the cost of pharma products).

also, alot of people tend to quit her staff. she has the highest turnover on Capitol Hill. i guess she can be difficult to work for.

that's all i know about her.

I have no idea who she is, but I would still vote for her over Warren, Booker, Bernie, or Kamala

heya Rygu,

at first glance, she seems to be in the same lane as Mr. Booker and Mr. Biden (if he announces that he's joining the field).

a centrist Democrat who aspires to work with Republicans.

Im voting for whichever mother fucker promises to get rid of these gotdamn "your vehicles extended warranty" calls.

hi there Higus,

lol, yes to that.

the right leaning posters here on this forum just don't know enough about her to hate her...most of the hate seems to have migrated from the evil Nancy Pelosi and landed on a young congresswoman from New York.

in the unlikely event that Mrs. Klobuchar wins the primary, i'm sure that in time she'll be painted as a socialist, leftist, Saul Kablisnky inspired, Soros funded radical.

Dude, she's a US Senator.

She's one of the 150 most powerful politicians in the country.

If Elizabeth warren can run then anybody can to be honest

hey Sketch,

i get where you're coming from.

i remember when GWB won the Presidency, lol.

here's a guy who bankrupted a string of oil companies, occupied the figurehead position of Governor in Texas, and had a small stake in a baseball team.

then he became POTUS.

i found that narrative pretty inspiring. anybody can become President!

dare to dream!

*high fives*
