It looked to me like Vettel and Leclerc had contact and Vettels car jumped a bit. Maybe suspension damage?

Leclerc has the older spec power unit after his crash in practice so he might have been down on power.

I suspect if he had really wanted to, he could have held Bottas back but there was a chance Verstappen would have caught them. Better to be second than third.

Hamilton is amazing. He's definitely on track to surpass Schumacher by next season, if all goes well. He really could go down as GOAT when he calls it a career.

I am a fan, but I think he already has. Schemings was a great driver he never had to drive his team mate like Lewis had every single year basically. Last year Bottas was asked to move aside when the title was up for grabs, but schumi had a rear gunner in Eddie and rubens his entire Ferrari career. It’s in the contract.

Schumacher also had the advantage of driving in a Ferrari, to whom the normal rules don’t apply.

I think this should have been Hamilton's seventh title. I believe that Mercedes gave Rosberg a title to keep him happy but instead led to his retirement by wanting to go out on top. There were too many mechanical and pit problems for Hamilton for it to have been a coincidence that season.

Dont know if i put Hamilton above Senna. While Hamilton had worthy opponents, Senna had to deal with Balestre + Prost, Hill, Piquet, Rosberg, Schumacher and had Häkkinen as a team mate for 3 races.

I knew the Hulman family wanted to sell the speedway and it was rumored it might wind up owned by a development corporation who would close the speedway. At least with Penske owning it, it will likely stay in racing for a few more years. Roger is 82. I don't know how committed his children are to racing.

In 2018, it was rumored that NASCAR was for sale as the France family dealt with it's declining popularity and Roger Penske was one of the names in the rumor mill.
