As a Dodgers fan, this is the kind of irrational thing I dry my tears on.

Congratulations to the Washington Nationals!!!

Trump becomes President and the Capitals win their first Stanley Cup. Now the Nationals have won their first World Series. To cap it all off next year Trump will win again and continue as President in 2020! An inspiration to us all.

The Nats were on fire going into the WS and Scherzer/Strasburg were looking unhittable.

Washington started in a hole record-wise, came back from down in an elimination game against the Brewers, came back from down in an elimination game against the Dodgers, came back from down in an elimination game against the Astros. Lot of grit and heart. Congrats.

Strasburg and Rendon about to get paid. Respect to Scherzer for powering through. Only feel bad for Greinke, he pulled his weight tonight.

Its hard not to give the Nats their due here. No quit, no front running. They had to grind for this.

Rendon got offered 7 years $210-215 million . Apparently he turned it down. Man top contracts are insane in baseball.
