2017 Fight Wish List

Discussion in 'UFC Discussion' started by Travis Lamming, Dec 28, 2016.

  1. Here's my wish list for 2017. I know a lot of you will disagree with it parts of it. But its what I would like to watch:

Heavy Weight Division: Miocic vs. DoSantos
Light Heavy Weight Division: Jones vs. Johnson
Middle Weight Division: Rockhold vs. Romero
Welter Weight Division: Super Fight: GSP vs. McGreggor (I know Boo Hiss!!! But it would be the biggest fight of the year if it happened). You'd all tune in.
Light Weight Division: Tony Ferguson vs. Nurmagomendov
Feather Weight Division: Aldo vs. Halloway
Bantam Weight Division: Cruz vs. Dillashaw
Fly Weight Division: Johnson fights a hologram of himself in a virtual reality simulator. Otherwise he has no more opponents left.

Other good fights: Lawler vs. Thompson, Diaz vs. Condit.

Super Fight that would have been just for laughs. Roy Nelson vs. Tank Abbott.

Looks good. Should be Lawler v. Diaz 2 though. Condit can fight Thompson.

Cerrone v Lalwer would be one for the ages. I'd love it if Lawler won a rematch against Diaz and then went on to face Cerrone after he beat someone like Larkin or the winner of DHK v Saffedine.

GSP vs McGregor wouldn't be a very good fight. GSP would just take him down and smother him like Hardy. I'd rather see GSP fight Woodley, Wonderboy or even Silva
