2016 Recap & Analytics

don't they track that shit as well?
I know for sure its unregulated, so I want to say that in turn would make in untraceable. Maybe someone who uses them can confirm though, as the unregulated part is the only thing i'm 100% on

I doubt they even give a shit if you're under the 20k range when it comes to winnings.

If you have the bankroll and obviously assuming you can consistently make good bets it would be easy to do living in Vegas. There are enough casinos that they would not be too bothered if you were just making 4-5k bets here and there.

Also if you are getting concerned they are catching on you can just give the money to your GF or wife to go place the bet for you.

However, you are right that trying to do this online and make 80-100k/year is not going to be sustainable.

EZ - based on your stats how are you going to change your betting style going forward? Are you going to bet more units on the dogs you like and avoid the slight favourites?

Haven't decided, but thinking less "forced" plays on favorites.

Impressive returns EZFlyer. Why the big gap in returns between UFC and Bellator/Rizin/etc?

Started this MMA betting journey 1.5 year ago with $18000 initial investment. Now it's $75000+.

Congrats, awesome. What's your betting strategy? Bet big when there is big value otherwise skip? Could you share your bets more often?

WTF?!?!?! goddamn you guys are GOAT

Ours are too......if you use bitcoin to hide it from the government......
Not to derail this thread but this paying tax on your winnings.. how does it work? Do they instantly take 30% of whatever you've just won? Or do you have to fill out a separate tax return every year for your gambling winnings? Lol.

It's true our bookies pay the tax for us, but ultimately we pay with worse odds.

Do you guys who bet on other sports keep a separate bankroll for MMA? Because let's be honest, sports like NFL, soccer etc are impossible to profit on long term.

I've personally made a decision to cease betting on other sports altogether, or if I do keep it small for fun and separate to my MMA bankroll as all it was doing was putting a dent in my MMA profit. From now on it's 96% MMA, 3.9% boxing and 0.1% kickboxing.

You have to file your winnings with your tax return

I only bet on fighting and my percentage breakdown between those three categories are very similar.

Nice. Since stopping betting on other sports I feel a lot more motivated to take combat sports betting seriously.

Wrong! I make a living sports betting on the all the major leagues. 95% are perpetual losing mugs which the bookies feed on in order to sustain their record breaking profits year in year out. Keys to success: bankroll management, line shopping and finding VALUE!

Oh and don't expect to routinely win without putting in the hours necessary to handicap. This isn't a get rich scheme or make a quick buck whenever you need Benjamins. It's a slow grind and believe you me you want to be the tortoise, not the hare. As they say slow and steady wins the race. If you think making a bet just on a whimsical hunch is a +EV wager, you're a dullard. Like with most things, you ultimately get what you put into whatever endeavor you choose to focus on.

Sports betting isn't for the faint of heart. I can attest because I'm putting my blood, sweat and tears into something which isn't guarantee income like a 9-5. There's also instances where I don't get to spend time with my girlfriend and she blasts me for it. Although, when I do buy her nice Tiffany's bling or take her out to bonafide 5 star restaurant she's more receptive of what I do.

I offer a consult service where I can look over all of your bets before placing them to offer greater insight. Additionally, I run one of the $harpest handicapping sports betting picks service. Basically I do all the handicapping for you and you sit back and reap the rewards. It's not cheap, but I do guarantee profits and I maintain a higher ROI than your typical stocks and bonds.

Give the kid a holler if you want to see how the 1% of winning handicappers roll.

It's easy for me to specialize, I don't care about or even watch other sports and haven't since I was a child. It was watching the UFC back in 2005 or so that pulled me back into the world of sports only with fighting.
