Cody Garbrandt stole it from Stipe tonight. Three first round KO's before taking the belt from the GOAT BW in an instant classic.

Nunes is certainly the Female FOTY as well.

I'll still take Stipe but Cody definitely put his name into the mix tonight and a strong argument can be made for him.

Losing, then losing again but getting gifted a win, then winning a gifted title shot =/= fighter of the year

I still think Stipe takes it but Cody no doubt put himself as 2nd or even tied for first. Nunes has to be up there as well taking out both Tate and Rousey with ease.

stipe is second, only because he beat some chinny people

cody beat cruz and....who even knows the other people

nunes beat tate and rousey, big names but downhill fighters

Cody for sure. Coming in as the #6 ranked BW, and literally EVERYONE writing him off.

Arlovski and Overeem were tailor made for Stipe to win. Werdum is a legit win tho.

Bisping won a very close decision over Silva who is past his prime, got floored twice by Hendo and blew Rockhold out of the water.

Nunes demolished two female BW goats and Cody's win over Cruz is fucking huge so for me it's tossup between them.
