Weigh in sherdog, pick your 3 favorite and 3 least favorite title fights of 2015.

Rousey vs Zingano
Dos Anjos vs Pettis
Joanna vs Esparaza

I really like mighty mouse and I hate to pick him twice and validate all the people who hate for no reason. In this situation I feel I'm given no choice.

So what do you think sherdog?
 
When you spell Esparza wrong having her opponent named Jedrzejczyk, that's the ultimate insult.
 
There were many good fights (all JJ fights, Pettis vs RDA, Lawler vs Macdonald, Cain vs Werdum, Dillashaw vs Barao 2). It easier to pick three not so good:

Jones/Cormier - basically a hugfest where both fighters are to blame for that.

Mendes vs McGregor - uneventful for the most part, a bit like Mendes vs Lentz where Mendes also gassed early.

Rousey vs Correya - Bethe managed to surpass Chris Cariaso as the worst title challenger in years. Getting dropped face-first by a judoka is beyond embarrassing.
 
Top 3:
Robbie vs Rory. So brutal and so awesome!
Werdum vs Cain. Loved seeing Werdum get that sub.
Cormier vs Rumble. Really cool match. How Cormier could recover from getting dropped early, and later pull out a win was impressive.

Bottom 3:
Ronda vs Cat. Very disappointed on this match. Was expected it to end in first round, but thought Cat wouldn't fight that stupid.
Ronda vs Bethe. It's embarrassing that kind of squash match could be made in UFC in 2015.
Johnson vs Dodson? Not very sure which I would put here, but this was kinda boring. The Horiguchi was fun at least in the first rounds.

I didn't really dislike any title fights this year, but these ones were the least competitive and therefore least interesting. To me, at least.

Talking shit here pal. Chad was sick for the Lentz fight. Very hard to keep your cardio up with a chest cold.Chad isn't known as a cardio machine, but he's not a Gasser either.

1. Rousey vs Correira (although, I enjoyed watching Bethe go face first into Compton)
2. MM vs Dodson (not MM's fault... he showed up. Dodson on the other hand looked mediocre)
3. Rousey vs Zingano (14 seconds Cat? Seriously?)

agreed, was at robbie vs rory and the ronda cat fight and i cant even begin to explain how much different those events were. i was so upset when ronda beat cat in 14 seconds.. mainly because wtf is cat thinking training for months at a time for the biggest fight of her career, just to sprint retardadly at the most dangerous woman in the world.

Dillashaw vs Barao 2: THIS PROVED THAT THE DILLASHAW WIN WASENT A FLUKE AND HE DIDENT WIN BECAUSE OF A LUCKY PUNCH LANDED EARLY. HE WAS JUST THE BETTER FIGHTER
Weidman vs Belfort: COME ON WEIDMAN IS THE MAN AND HES PROVED IT BEATING THE BEST OF BRAZIL AND MOST OF AMERICA ONE MORE AMERICAN TO BEAT IN HIS NEXT FIGHT THEN ID SAY TIME TO TRY A NEW WEIGHT CLASS

Cormier vs Rumble: I THINK EVERYBODY KNEW IF RUMBLE DIDENT LAND A BIG PUNCH THAT CORMIER WAS GONNA DOMINATE HIM.
 
Interesting spread so far. Jones cormier has been in some top 3' s and some bottom 3's.

I was rating them on entertainment value. Joannas fights are one sided and entertaining. Unlike rouseys.

Jones cormier isnt a fight I'd want watch again. It wasnt all that competitive really.

Weidman vs Belfort - total waste of a fight, to me. I had no delusions the TRTless Belfort that fought that night would be the same one that KO'd Henderson, Rockhold, and Bisping. Would have rather seen Weidman fight Jacare or Rockhold at that point.

And I enjoyed both of them

Lawler/McDonald was a war and Rousey/Zingano was short but spectacular, packing more action into 14 seconds than MM/Dodson II did into 5 rounds.

Im really loathed to have JJ twice in my top 3 but her destruction of Esparza was something special. I can still see pictures in my head of Carla like a drunk woman trying to spam takedowns and hold onto Joanna's ankles..

Johnson vs Dodson - Just bored the crap out of me

Robbie/Rory - war
Rousey/Zingano - amazing!

Bottom 3 -

Johnson/Dodson - poor Magician had nothing
Weidman/Belfort - after all that buildup, that's it?
McGregor/Mendes - sad to see Chad fade like that
