IN FORT WORTH, who will be there? Who is competing? Do any of the bigger names ever compete in this tournament?

    Thanks.

I wasn't doubting you, just thinking it's funny sounding.

    But I'm borderline retarded

My school Barra Brothers (now under GB BB Fabio Costa in Atlanta after our instructor passed away earlier this year) will probably send 15-20 guys to the tourney since it's close (we're in Columbus, GA). Hopefully they are a little more organized this time, I've seen it good and bad at NAGA events. It's a decent local tourney, as good as you'll get in GA. Purple and below mostly. I've on seen a handfull of browns and blacks fight at these. What school do you train at?

That does seem like a small predicament you have there my friend. I don't think you will be able to view it on line. This will be the first tournament I compete in so its new to me...

The competition at the Lutador Open in Georgia is far better than NAGA. Both in organization and competition.

I will 2nd this statement. Alliance turns out in force for the Lutador tournaments, very few of their guys go to the NAGA tournaments.

They just had one on Sept 18th. They typically only have 3-4 a year, but are definately worth marking your calender for.

Agreed. Just did this past one and it was very well run. I was done with gi and no gi by about 4 and it was a good sized competition. I had about 12-15 guys in both of my divisions. There was a lot of talent there. The advanced absolute was awesome, tons of good guys, Ian Mcphearson and Rafael Santos ended up closing it out. Would highly recommend it, this is where it is at in terms of local competitions.

Agreed. Not only does my team, Alliance, show up in force, but so do X3, Unit 2 which is Travern, and several other good schools. Lots of Pan Am place winners in the tournament. Heck, my first round match was against a Pan Am placewinner.
