Yeah it's a shame it was overshadowed. Izzy Kelvin was a good fight, this was a great one. Never understood why the former was held in higher regard.

Poirier - Holloway was a one sided beating.

Izzy - Kelvin was a back and forth war with several turnaround. That's why.

I disagree. Izzy should have gotten the TKO in the last 15 seconds of the fight, neither Poirier or Holloway ever got to that point. Kelvin had 2 big moments (blitzing Izzy in the first, the headkick when Izzy was lazy in the 4th). Other than that Izzy dominated.

I can't see how Izzy/Kelvin was a more competitive fight, Poirier/Holloway had more momentum swings in the first round than the Izzy/Kelvin had in 25 minutes.
