I don't know about Lombard. I have no doubt that he will be referred to as a legend, but that's because the term is used more liberally than it should be. I think I heard someone refer to Matt Brown as a legend- maybe even Mike Pyle. I'll be that guy who remembers their careers well too, so I don't want to disrespect them. But Lombard, Pyle, and Brown aren't legends, imo.

Penn is a legend for sure, multiple time champ and fought many great fighters and has been around forever.

If you’re a hardcore fan for the last 20 years those guys are legends. You don’t remember having to stream belator at 4am from Russia to catch Lombard beat people to death. Or watching some joe schmo mma league and seeing Pyle year through guys. Legends if you’re a hardcore yamma pit survivor

I am a hardcore fan, and that's why I don't consider them legends. I watched every one of these guys fight, and none of them made my cut. You need to adjust your standards.
