No Way....So my Sons friend lived a few block away in a nice Colonial, worth about 650k. His neighbor was elderly and passed. The deceased was survived by only a son and he lives in Europe and had not been back to settle up the home and put it up for sale. There is this Jamaican family/extended family that is famous for finding these homes and squatting in them. They usually get a year or more before they can be removed. They are experts in that they get cable right away and get a bill sent to that address to establish residency. The laws are really weird and side with the squatters. The issue is they are not a clean people...they live out of boxes and leave garbage everywhere. Like literaly open a window and just throw garbage on the side of the house. They brought in a cockroach infestation so bad they got into my sons friends house. He could not control the problem because the neighbors were not controlling it. He actually sold his house and moved across town because one day they saw Rats as well. Wife was like NOPE. Fast forward and the house was finally sold and squatters are now making someone else miserable. The new owners gutted the house and redid it. The guy that bought it is our pool guy. Still has to get exterminator every few months. You can not get rid of those fuckers. No way around it, they SURVIVE

I had a water bug try and make it's way through the overflow when I was in the shower. It was like a scene from Psycho except me all soapy throwing all sorts of cleaning products at it till it changed its mind.
