Media 17 years ago today, Kevin Randleman slammed Fedor on his head

17 years ago holy fuck. I got into mma just after the pride era so when I saw those fights they were still only like a few years old. But now 17 years? Wow time flies. Remember being so in awe of those guys like it was yesterday.
 
Still don't understand how Fedor didn't break his neck, people get their necks broke all the time with way less force.

That version of Fedor almost got murdered by Randleman who had 1 HW in years and no meaningful wins after lol.


DC would murder that Fedor.
 
This is still one of the most thrilling moments in MMA history. Both the slam and the comeback afterwards.

Also Fedor is lucky as hell he didn't end up in a wheelchair after that slam.
