155 Conor vs 155 Diaz would possibly have been a much closer fight

you gotta think, Conor possibly lost some speed, lost some cardio from being heavier, and possibly wasnt training as hard to keep more weight on...

having said that, Nate at 155 is probably a better performer also.

but all in all i think we would have seen a much better fight at 155.

Who knows? Let them go their separate ways for now before the inevitable big rematch.

Can't see it. 155 Diaz would of been in much better shape.

Full camp Diaz would beat the shit out of Conor

We saw him on steak and it was not too impressive and what you're saying is pure conjecture.

Agreed. A 155 fight isn't a 155 fight unless the cut is involved.

Nate admitted to not being out of the gym since the Johnson fight.

Good try, though.

Gym is not the same thing as a camp preparing for a fight.

How so? Because cutting water weight and then putting it back on would have increased Conor's performance? Weight cutting is not beneficial to your performance, other than getting a size advantage.

Funny, he and his manager both said he would be faster, stronger and fresher at that weight.

Diaz would finish Conor even faster if he actually got to train for the fight. Crazy how you Conor fans seem to forget Nate didn't even train for the fight lol

At 55 Conor's only weapon (the left hand) which he threw bombs with so many times and still couldn't drop Nate would have even less power....Nate would win even more decisively

being lighter, would mean having a speed and cardio advantage imo from the fact of being lighter, providing the cut isnt too taxing on the body.

Conor did not bulk up in the 10 days after he picked Nate to fight at 170. He came in the same weight he would have if the fight was at 155 give or take maybe a couple pounds.

How would he be heavier? You do get that if the fight was at 155 Conor would cut water weight, and put that weight back on. And then he would have weight the same as he did now.
