I JOINED SHERDOG!
That's right. This is all about ME!!!! I used to be Goodfella69 until about a week ago.
Allow me.
As for Conor, he probably sneezed or something on that day. But I was joining the GOAT of forums, looking to discuss the '03 GP with some mma fans. Now, it's 15 years later, and I'm still just as pumped for UFC 226.
I'm not the type to draw attention to myself, but I can handle something like this because I don't have to actually see any of you fuckin people. I actually like most of you, but, again.... that's probably because I don't have to actually see any of you fuckin people.
But, back to the love. This site is my primary interest on the web; if I could only take one website with me on a deserted island (just roll with it), it'd be this one. You guys keep me entertained and informed. MMA is huge now, but it's still just small enough for us to take pride in our interest. There's no better way to prove you're an mma fan than joining the Sherdog forum.
I'm proud to have made it 15 years and, in that time, I haven't joined Facebook/Twitter/Myspace/Instagram (aside from when I needed to watch a fight, ironically). But it's essentially all Sherdog for me. When I started out, I was a white belt who was regularly called a "fuckin noob" by the '01 accounts lol. But I gave it back to those elitist cocksuckers. Amazingly, I've only been carded once (maybe twice), and it was for calling a fighter "an idiot" for doing coke, I believe. The mods have been more than fair with me.
Overall, I love this place. And I've gotten to know hundreds of you relatively well, even if it's just through one forum and one subject. I clash with a prick every now and then, but my interactions with you all are 99% positive.
Okay, now I've done too much reflecting and the tone has changed. This is now the tone:
