Civil Lawsuit Filed Against Conor McGregor

The victim in the case, 22-year old Ahmed Abdirzak from England, filed a lawsuit in which he seeks upwards of $15,000, accusing McGregor of battery, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The victim said the phone was valued at $1,000.

Video footage showing parts of the incident was also released on Thursday. A man who appears to be McGregor can be seen stomping on the phone as the victim says “Let me get my phone, man,” the video then cuts off.

The Irishman’s criminal defense attorney said Abdirzak’s lawsuit is “a quick effort seeking a payday.” Before the incident occurred this week, McGregor had just finished the community service he was handed for his UFC 223 bus attack that took place in April of last year.

conor lawyer just a puppet. conor shouldnt act like a crazy man if he doesnt want to pay the price for his actions.

$5k would be fair imo.

$ for the phone, for the inconvenience of replacing it, the inconvenience of not having the phone, cost of hiring a lawyer and time spent dealing with the lawyer, public embarrassment and stress.

Can’t even watch a news video without some asshole trying to turn it into a rap video.

Years from now, people will remember the legend that is Ahmed Abdirzak and forget all about Conor Mcdougal

What I mean is, who the fuck cares if Conor has to pay the guy a few thousand for fucking up his phone/vacation. That's why it's not a story. Not that it can't literally be made into a story.

Anything can be made into a story when there's TMZ obsessed fuckboys like you existing lmao
I agree with that. On that same note, lots of things here are discussed that aren't stories, including every twitter post. Nothing is too small a story, especially if you can hate on someone for something.

Doesnt seem that unreasonable to me, from what I heard about lawsuits in 'Murica.

I would expect some random guy with low/average to have to pay the victim like 3-4k for this. Its more than just about the phone. Being robbed can have other unpleasant effects on a person, believe it or not.

If he thought the phone incident was traumatic, what is going to happen when real Conor fans find him in the street?

You sound like a bitch.

It is obviously a story. We already went over that. Your statement about the $12,000 bond is hilarious. I'm the TMZ 'fckboy' yet I didn't even know about his bond amount, you are the one keeping track of sht like that. On top of that, the $12,000 number doesn't make this story less relevant or affect anything. People are interested in how much he has to pay to the person. It's a story to get factual evidence about how much the person is seeking in damages. The amount relative to Conor's bond is not relevant. Sure, we talk about things that are not worth it at times. But this isn't one of them.

I will speculate and say you're likely a fan of Conor's and are irritated that he is being raked through the mud at this point. That is causing your failures.

Probably spent that much in the club the night before.
