14oz for sparring?

I couldn't buy 16oz cause they were out....but I recently got some Twins Specials 14oz...gloves. I'll probably write a review when I get a chance to go to boxing class.

14 oz is "OK" for sparring, as long as you're not a dick. I've used 14 before and never had any complaints, but I'm pretty nice when it comes to punching.

at my boxing gym we have to have 16 oz. for sparring...

smaller gloves are used just for bag and mit work there...

Shit....well...i guess i can go lightly when I spar with the 14oz.....Is it really that big of a difference? My old 16oz feel the same but with a little bit of extra padding...just a little bit.

Mackz 14oz is perfectly fine for sparring if you're a lighter guy. I use 14oz as well.

Thanks ... I sorta like using lighter gloves....but then again, heavier gloves are good for developing speed...my next purchase will be 16oz though

call me crazy but i use 12 oz
