So I was talking to one of my classmates in school and we were talking about lifting. He tells me he deadlifts 400 pounds, but I don't believe it. I'm asking you guys, though, if he is bluffing or could it be possible. This kid is only 5'10 and weighs only 150, and we are about the same strength and I'm 5'9 and weigh 130.

I am also 5'10 around 150 lb and I can max 315 (actually I think I was 160 when I did), I wish I can do 400

If true that kid is my hero

I believe him.

i saw a video of a 14 yr squat 610. he was a big boy though lol

i guess its possible, but id still be suspicious

Well, here's what I'll say:

What is more likely: that a 150lbs 13 year old can deadlift 400 lbs. OR a 13 year old male is speaking hyperbole in order to elevate his masculinity in front of his peers?

You decide.

I'm 12 and deadlift 600, and I'm 6'2" of 180lbs pure muscle, so this is definitely possible.

Pay no attention to the stats in my sig.

idk, i do more of bodyweight excersises than of lifting weights, and i dont go to a gym anymore.
