Nobody cares if politicians break the law anymore, unless they are on the other team.
The problem is if the people who make the law cant follow the law then we have a problem.
Binary politics makes breaking the law a non issue, because 30% Americans will defend it as long as the crime is not too extreme. Insider trading, using campaign funds to buy your book or pay your rent, or anything short of murder, your team will defend the shit out of your law breaking, weather the initial storm and then you can go back to breaking the law, because accountability no longer matters.
Everyone gets a trophy generation, are not held accountable, so why would I think, they would hold politicians accountable.

And I thought Micheal Flynn violating the Logan Act was serious...

From the party of law and order and blue lives matter

I may be wrong, but isnt this the law that presidential staff and advisors constantly run afoul on?

TS only makes anti Trump threads but complains about partisan/tribalism ? lol

Didn't Jen Psaki just violate it before he vaccinated ass went down with CV-19?

Why yes she did. So prison for all of them? What shall we do?
That watchdog group is consistent, they don't play favorites based on party affiliation, and neither should the law. Too bad most Americans only view the law through partisan blinders.
They need to drag all their asses in front of Congress and do something about it. Fine them, and if it happens multiple times, make them resign, problem is binary politics in this country, they know that will never happen. Its why both sides of the aisle do insider trading, because if both teams are doing it, neither teams national media will touch the story.

The President of the United States is making laws like a dictator and I'm supposed to care about this? I'm sorry, the left has no right to be talking about rule of law. They're ruling through decree with illegal mandates and routinely ignore federal immigration laws.

Nutman you should change your name to fakenews

Does 44nutman mean you post in proxy of obama

We need major political accountability and reform. Some how all the focus was shifted on law enforcement and none on legislators. I’m all for both.

Being anti-person/party isn't being partisan. Partisan is showing favoritism to a particular party.
Subtraction is favoritism right ? Never making a thread about any bad thing the left or Dems have done is favoritism ?

No, I can feel neutral about a subject and never make a thread or comment on it. Y'all Typically take politics and look at it in terms of love/hate and ignore that indifference exists.

I’m fine with that honestly but if it’s a crime is that where it should happen ?
Honestly, a court would be better, but it would take years to get to trial.
The problem I am having is the blatant disregard for the law.
Insider trading crosses both sides of the aisle and its never enforced because its not a meaty story, because neither teams national news network, can take the moral high ground on it.
Starting to read a lot more stories about abuses of campaign funds, i.e buying books, paying rent and personal bills. They have figured out if you break the law, the first thing to do is finger point to the other team. People bicker long enough and eventually people move on to vaccine statuses of celebrities or athletes. They figured out the key is to weather the storm and people will forget. So now we have a ruling class that act like the aristocrats from the 1500's. This country was built on power to the people, but that went away a long time ago.
