I always look forward to fights with Edmond fighters - the level of striking nous and know how is just off the scale - they are always a treat to watch.

So here's a big one coming up in 6 weeks or so. Since moving to Glendale Travis is 2-3 - a TKO of Schaub in round one, TKO over Mittrione after one of the most brutal eye gouges I have ever seen, and 3 terrible losses against Werdum, Velasquez and Arlovskii. He has lost his last 2.

Lewis, on the other hand, is on a 5 fight win streak, with 4 (T)KOs.

Neither fighter is known for his wrestling or ground game, although they can ground and pound against a damaged opponent. Both are going to be looking to stand and bang and finish their opponent on the feet. So expect fireworks! How do you see this one playing out?

I see Lewis improving his streak to 6. I think it could go the distance, or could be a TKO against the cage like Browne-Bigfoot after he walks Travis down, perhaps in the 2nd round if I'm making a specific prediction.

If Lewis wins, does he get a title shot?

  4. No needs 1 more win over the JDS, Cain, Werdums of the world. Dont see him winning against the top of the HW division.

I think he'd still be at least one big win away. But it's a possibility I suppose.

Hopefully Black beast retires Mr. Ronda and ufc will be cleansed of this shitty couple along with Edmond.

Even at this point I think Browne is still better than Black Beast. I really don't get the Lewis hype tbh, dude tends to look pretty meh in most of his fights and loses whenever he takes big steps up in competition.

Would be insane if Travis all of a sudden becomes the most technical striker in the HW division.

But yeah... that's just a theoretical concept, i know.

    Would be funny though.

PPV sucks. But I kinda like this fight.

Both guys can win. Lewis has been KO'd by two guys Browne has and would beat, and Browne hits pretty hard. He also has a powerful top game if he can get Lewis down and keep him there.

Lewis hits like a truck and has nasty GNP plus surprisingly good cardio for a man of his size and build.

Too early for me to pick a winner but I'll certainly be rooting for Derrick.
