I watched in 5th and 6th grade. I had to keep it a secret from anyone, even my parents, otherwise they might think I was gay or had gender issues. Keeping a secret like this made me feel even more like Tuxedo Mask. :icon_twis

Haha, I knew there were others out there like me. I'm going to watch an episode one of these days just to see what it was that I found so interesting.

I can't believe they made live-action versions, though.

For me, it was the first cartoon with an actual on going story, it has a beginning, middle and a end. All the other american cartoons at the time just had their story contained to one episode, but Japanese anime at the time was way advanced in terms of animation, characters, and story. I also started liking girls in 5th grade so it would be natural for me to watching shows with hot girls. From sailor moon I branched to pokemon, then DBZ, then general anime. I didn't realize why I liked sailor at the time, so I seriously thought I had gender issues.
