Decided to take another MMA fight in August. Been a while out of the game so I am a tad heavy as well as I have a pile of "ring rust".

    Just some quick info

    35 years old
    5'7"
    Current weight 230lbs
    Fight weight 200lbs
23 years experience in martaial arts, MOstly stand-up but about 5 years onthe ground
Pros- Patient, lots of tools in the tool box, decieving conditioning
Cons- Got in the game late, sometimes too much of a counter fighter

    First day back

Well I was going to go for a run but it started to storm. Instead I did the Bas Rutten All-round workout CD for 28 minutes.

I have 11 weeks so the first 3 weeks I am going to focus alot on weight loss. I have nearly 30 lbs to lose in 11 weeks so the sooner I can drop it the easier it will be.

This first week I am going to attempt to fast from solid food for 7 days. Clean out my system(yuck) and start over fresh. It wont be a complete fast as I will be drinking protien shakes mixed with water as well as a powder greens suppliment, mulitvitamin and a fiber supplement.

1-1. Haven't fought since 2004 or 05 I think. With work and a famly I never had the time to train properly. I still dont have the time but I figure I'm not getting any younger so what the hell

Not bad for your first week. Just stick with it and remember if you feel like cutting it short, your opponent is out there training. Train hard, Fight hard!
