I said that I believe that only taxpayers should be allowed to vote. As they have more skin in the game as to the allocation of resources. Including women.

The government has just become this huge resource redistribution machine. I think if you pay income/council tax, you have a say over someone doesn't.

It's easy to be virtuous with other people's money.

Historically speaking, men got the vote because they were drafted for war. Men are mainly socially conservative and don't vote for big social welfare plans ... women DO! And they didn't have to be drafted to get the vote, they contribute far less in taxes, too.

It's power without accountability and leads to big social welfare systems. And socialism rots civilization from the inside out.

I'm in favourite of women voting ... if they pay taxes.
