When I worked for the government I came across what I thought was a money laundering method. I'd find an item that was normally a couple hundred bucks that someone would have listed for $5,000. I talked to one seller who said that no it wasn't anything shady, it was how they kept the listing continuous when they were out of stock.

They'd list it super high rather than shut down the listing. I always thought man, this is the perfect way to launder money quickly.

Probably why your nuts are 500% marked up...
