⭐TCK Star Rating System: The HeavyWeights⭐

The goal of this system is to capture the sum value of quality of wins for an individual fighter. This system relies heavily on historical context and assign's values to victories based on how they were viewed at the time. Wins do not depreciate nor appreciate over time. Below is the criteria:

Win = Top 20 p4p
4

Win = All time great in their prime
3

Win = Perennial Top 10 fighter in their prime/ATG outside of their prime
2

Win = Perennial Top 20 fighter/occasional top 10/Otherwise notable fighter

But I don't think a win over peak prime Nog should be scored equal to a win over 35yo Mark Coleman. Not only do I think 2001 Coleman should be downgraded a star from 5, but there should probably be a category >5 star for a win like prime Nog

“All time great in their prime” should be worth 2 stars less unless you are just looking for a false nostalgia list.

Same with “top 10 in their prime”

Actually, why are you taking those into account at all? It doesn’t matter what they used to be in their prime

Stipe can run through all the old PRIDE guys today all at same night, but does it really make him any better in GOAT list?
