Abreu for sure. Like you said, consistent.. and the lineup they've put together around him will only help. As much as it pains me to say that as a Cubs fan.

In my Private CBS League we get 7 keepers. You still draft in all rounds and you keep a player for up to 4 seasons.

    My Keepers:

    Abreu
    Rendon
    Lindor
    G. Springer
    M. Clevinger
    S. Bieber
    K. Yates

Others I considered keeping: Osuna, M.Brantley, Soroka, and Mancini

I've never played fantasy baseball before but I think I'm gonna give it a go this year.

I like fantasy football better. It's a very long season just like baseball. We had to put in a $5 dollar fine in our league if you fail to put in a competitive lineup. If you get an injury early in the week, it can hurt you.

Was in a keeper roto league a few years back and had a lot of fun. I find it hard to go back to single season and point-based leagues (at least for baseball and basketball with the latter) because there are so many more layers to team-building and it feels more like an actual team.

That's kinda why I want to do it. I've always loved baseball but the season is so long that I'd take weeks off from watching any games. I love fanatsy football, it got me so dialed in I know basically every player on every team. I'm hoping this will spark my daily interest in baseball again like when I was younger.

Best part about fantasy baseball, is there's so many different formats.

Yeah, I've been researching for about a week now. I just want to get everything down before I draft. I'm sure the first season will be a learning curve for me.

I hate leagues that lock the roster for the week.

I'm in a H2H league and we lock them for the week. You can make changes as long as the player hasn't played a game. It does suck if a batter gets injured on like Monday.

I'm thinking about starting a new points league.

If we can get at least 8 members here to want to join a league, I'll get an ESPN league started ASAP.

I'm thinking about starting a new league with just Sherdoggers. I'll give you pointers and tips if you'd like.
I need at least 8 guys though. Would you like to join?

Thanks for that offer man, I really appreciate it. I've already joined a league with my little brother and his buddies. I think they saw blood in the water with me.

Fantasy baseball will definitely keep your interest, especially if you got a little coin invested in the outcome.
